Peter Stuivenberg has amused audiences hundreds of times with breathtaking adventure-stories, a 'drop and drag' philosophy of life based upon a lifetime he spent on oceans, in deserts and in jungles.

Lecture: "Wandering Oceans"
Breathtaking, full of emotion and spirit, a lot of practical information
Peter Stuivenberg sailed around the world and experienced all oceans. He lives with Maaike partly in the Caribbean and Brazil. Subjects: the coasts of South America, Canaries, Polynesia, Fiji, Tonga, Australia, New Zealand, Africa, India, Acores and lots and lots more. Peter is a storyteller and loves people and living in the tropics. Between the stories a lot of information about cyclone-and storm tactics, doldrums, meteorology and routing, practical seamanship, satellite communication and navigation, short-handed sailing, equipment, deck-layout, sail-trim, safety. Peter wrote two books about his sailing adventures: 'A World Sailing By' and 'Homesick Horizons'.

Lecture: "Dunes Of Freedom"
Feel the heat, the sand and the silence while searching for a Mysterious Stone with a message of a Lost Ocean
Peter visited several times North Africa and the Sahara dessert. The last expedition was with Maaike Kallenborn. Six months they traveled through the civil war in Algeria and through the killing desert in Mali and Chad (click here for more information). Half a year they searched for the 'Sahara' sea like once described by the Greek philosopher Herodotus. Be part of this astonishing expedition that was broadcast over Dutch and Belgium radio and published in tenth of magazines. Also Peter wrote a book: ‘The Ring'.

Lecture: "Wildlife, Jungle And El Paititi"
Nature, wild rivers and an unbeaten track leads to the 'Lost City'.
Peter filmed man-eating tigers in India, visited on horseback the Andes Mountain and searched with Maaike Kallenborn in the Amazon jungle for Anaconda's and the 'Lost City' of the Inca's: called El Paititi This latest expedition started at the Atlantic Ocean, followed the Orinoco River (Venezuela), went up to jungle town Manaus (Brazil) and continued through the wetlands of the Amazon jungle over the Rio Madeira to Bolivia. From there, searching the Tiwanaku empire and the treasures of Lake Titicaca - inclusive the Reed Race - they continued for a forbidden zone of the Peruvian Amazon to find what they were looking for. The expedition was broadcast life on Internet, 16 countries, worldwide. Also Peter wrote a book: 'Guyamiri'.
