future skippers who wish to pass the examine of
(Ocean) Yacht Master. |

| The sail area is the Caribbean Islands and the northern and the southern Atlantic Ocean. Capacity: 4 to 6 persons. |

The
Practical Ocean- and Offshore Training program consists: |

 |
Practical
seamanship (how to sleep, watch, cook, schedules,
leadership, rope handling). |
|
|
|
Boat-management (registration, insurance's, crew). |
|
| |
|
Navigation (sextant,
GPS, paper and electronic charts, radar). |
|
| |
|
Sail and sail trim,
safety (man-over-board, search-and-rescue, fire,
life raft training, clothing, Inmarsat-C system). |
|
| |
|
Communications (satellite,
VHF, radio). Publishing. |
|
|
|
Maintenance on rigging,
sails, deck layout, electricity systems and propulsion
(including schedules). |
|
|
|
|
|
The
yacht will be professional skippered by one of the licensed
Instructors of Global-Unlimited. Each of them carry
a lot of offshore experience. Our captains are familiar
with the routes and the weather systems in the northern
and southern Atlantic Ocean and in the Caribbean. They
speak French, English, Dutch, German and limited Portuguese
and Spanish.
