Management and Life Skills Training
Management and Life Skills Training

In the corporate world it is all about conflict resolution, leadership, decision-taking, honesty, camaraderie, picking the right opportunities and believing in yourself.

Each member of a Management team is aware of this. However, teams change and sometimes the spirit fades away. Then it is time to remember the ultimate objectives: how to bring (again) to the table a winning team that will grow the company to further prosperity and profit-levels. How to make the board and the shareholders happy.

Die-hard personality training that will awaken the eagerness to continuously hunt down opportunities is a daunted task. We can assist, by confronting the members of the team with on-the-edge and unique (real-life) experiences, where instant decision-taking is paramount for personal and team survival.

Our 4-days ‘Triple A’ Team Bonding Event is led by ocean sailor and international business development consultant Peter Stuivenberg. During this event we welcome up to 6 participants, that will be trained to work in a team in order to sail the 50ft Ocean Racer.

After 1 day of training in the turquoise waters of Bonaire and an overnight stay on board in Harbour Village Marina, the maximum 6 participants will sail on day number 2 the 50ft ocean racer to Curacao Marine in Curacao. The team will prepare the route and decide who will be the skipper and the cook, and how to sail, navigate, keep watches and the very high safety standards. Don’t worry, all your decisions and actions will be overseen and guided where needed and, naturally, at a later stage evaluated and discussed.

During day number 3, 1 or 2 rental cars are available to explore the island Curacao (including in the sum). In the afternoon, at 16.00, we meet down-town in a local ambiance for drinks and a dinner (own costs) and to solve in between some adventurous tasks in a gaming format, that will require creative thinking, personal initiatives, decision taking and even some leadership skills.

The tasks we confront you with are based on personal experience. To name a few, reporting about a desert war in the South of Algeria, sailing a yacht through a vicious storm, preventing a possible attack from a man-eating tiger, organizing on a shoe-string budget an expedition through the forbidden forests of Manu, Peru, and how to survive in a life raft.

On day number 4, early in the morning, the team set sail to Bonaire, where the Team Bonding Event will be evaluated on the mooring with some drinks, pizza snacks, swimming and a 30 minutes evaluation.

No need to say that there are valuable lessons to be learned. And that after such an event all participants return home, eager to bring their respective with the company inter-linked future to prosperity.

Costs all-in: breakfast, lunch and dinner, coffee/tea and soft drinks, harbor fees, water, fuel, bed linen, cleaning.

Not included: personal insurances (health care, belongings), own expenses (drinks and dinners in bars/restaurant, social networking, souvenirs, island trips etc.).

Ports of stay: Bonaire: Harbour Village Mariner in Kralendijk, Curacao: Curaçao Marina in Willemstad.

A total of 3 Nights in port.

Costs: 695 USD per person for 4 days
